The Allegheny County Police Department reports that it is still searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide in Homestead. ACPD says 38-year-old Eric Stephens was fatally shot outside a residence in the 300 block of East 12th Avenue one year ago.

A second man was seriously injured in the shooting. Detectives claim that 36-year-old Jonque Pettiford shot both victims multiple times after an altercation outside of a residence. Police say Pettiford is wanted for Homicide, Attempted Homicide, and Aggravated Assault.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Pettiford. ACPD urges anyone with information to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. If anyone sees Pettiford, they should call 911.
