The Wentzville Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a woman. WPD reports that its officers are currently on the scene of a shooting in the 100 block of Katie Lynn Court. The shooting reportedly occurred during a domestic incident.

WPD says a male subject was taken into custody and is currently cooperating with investigators. Police say a female was found deceased and two juveniles were found safe. WPD does not believe there are any other subjects involved.
