The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office reports that it has arrested 32-year-old Michelle D. Oliver of Laurens on three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. OCSO says the arrest comes after an investigation into reports of abuse occurring at a residence in the Town of Laurens.

OCSO alleges that the investigation revealed that Oliver subjected a child to physical abuse while in the presence of other children.

On October 30, 2024, Oliver was taken into custody and processed at the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office. She has been booked into the Otsego County Correctional Facility while awaiting Centralized Arraignment.
