Update – The Allegheny County Police Department says it has arrested 28-year-old Gene Brown in connection to this incident. Brown is facing charges including Attempted Homicide and Aggravated Assault.

Police also say that Brown had multiple felony warrants for his arrest.

Original – Pennsylvania authorities are investigating a shooting and a domestic incident on Wednesday. The Allegheny County Police Department confirmed its Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in McKees Rocks.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities say they received a call about a shooting in the 1000 block of Lake Street. Police say an adult female was found beaten and an adult male was found shot.

A third adult male victim flagged down a Sheriff’s Deputy and reported he had been shot in the neck. ACPD says the victims were taken to area hospitals in stable condition. Authorities believe that a violent domestic incident occurred inside a residence.

During that incident, police say the female retrieved a handgun and shot the male in the stomach area. ACPD says the male took the gun from the female and began beating her with it.

The fight continued outside where a third victim was driving by and was shot in the neck by the male with the gun. No other details are available at this time.
