The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has announced the arrests of a father and his teen son for the murder of the boy’s mother in Pagosa Springs on July 2, 2024. The CBI reports that 43-year-old Charles Christopher Martinez and 17-year-old Hevon Martinez have been booked on one count of 1st Degree Murder.

Authorities say the 17-year-old was already in custody on separate charges. He will be tried as an adult. Police say Charles Christopher Martinez was taken into custody in Cortez and booked into the Archuleta County Detention Center.

On July 2, 2024, 911 dispatch operators received an emergency call from a phone belonging to 38-year-old Chrystal Snow. Authorities say that Snow was found shot to death in her home. No other details are available at this time.
