The Longview Police Department says a man has been shot following an argument at an apartment complex. LPD reports that its officers responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Pine Tree Road around 11:10 a.m. on October 28, 2024.

Authorities say a male victim had been shot at the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police have not said anything about the victim’s condition at this time.

Investigators say the shooting was the result of an altercation between multiple people that resulted in shots being exchanged. LPD confirms charges are being filed for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
