A joint retail theft operation led to the arrest of seven individuals and the recovery of $2,236 in stolen merchandise at Anderson Walmart in California.
Walmart and a P.O.P. Team from the Anderson Police Department conducted a “highly successful” operation to deter retail theft.
Three adults and three juveniles received citations for shoplifting. One of the individuals received an additional citation for possession of narcotics. A seventh individual received a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics. All seven individuals were released after being cited.
- 31-year-old Danielle Duncan of Redding received citations for possession of narcotics and shoplifting
- 35-year-old Amber McFarland of Redding received a citation for shoplifting
- 62-year-old Alfredo Ruiz of Anderson received a shoplifting citation
- 42-year-old Isis Hayden received citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics, and shoplifting.
- Three juveniles received shoplifting citations and were released in the custody of their parents
