The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that it has arrested an 18-year-old suspect in connection to the shooting death of 44-year-old Johnny Ray Green. BRPD says the shooting occurred around 1:46 p.m. in the 3500 block of Brady Street on September 13, 2024.

The victim was found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities. Police believe Green arrived at his residence when an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at him.

On October 24, 2024, BRPD detectives say they arrested 18-year-old Anthony Torreganohayes for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting. Detectives believe Torreganohayes was hired to shoot and kill Green.

18-year-old Anthony Torreganohayes was booked on charges of 1st Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
