Las Cruces Police looking for suspect in carjacking kidnapping and hit-and-run

The Las Cruces Police Department is currently searching for a Hispanic male suspect in connection to a carjacking, kidnapping, and hit-and-run. LCPD reports that the carjacking and kidnapping happened in the 2600 block of North Roadrunner Parkway around 8 a.m. on October 24, 2024.

Authorities say a female victim was sitting in her vehicle while parked in the desert area when a Hispanic male forcibly entered the vehicle. The man kidnapped the victim and drove away with the victim still inside the vehicle, according to authorities.
