The Chester County District Attorney’s Office reports that authorities are investigating a murder and attempted suicide at Manatawny Manor Nursing Home. East Coventry Police Department and Chester Country Detectives are investigating the death of an 89-year-old woman.

Authorities say the death is currently being treated as a murder/attempted suicide. Officials say there are no other reported injuries besides the two individuals involved. There is also no threat to the public or anyone else in the nursing home.
