The Tulsa Police Department reports that it has arrested 31-year-old Anthony Russell in connection to the death of 35-year-old Tasha Shepard. TSP says its officers responded to a person shot by the bus stop at 15th and Peoria just after midnight on October 23.

Police say officers arrived at the scene and found a female victim deceased with a gunshot wound to the head. The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Tasha Shepard. TPD detectives say they identified the suspect as 31-year-old Anthony Russell.

Authorities arrested Russell at a residence near Admiral and Harvard earlier this evening. He has been booked on a charge of 1st Degree Murder.
