The Fort Smith Police Department says it has arrested 18-year-old Jadyn Elizabeth Jones. FSPD says Jones is charged with Failure to Yield with Injury and Leaving the Scene of a Serious Injury Accident.

Authorities allege that Jones was identified as the driver of a gray GMC Acadia that was involved in a crash with a motorcycle on September 11. The collision caused serious injuries to the driver of the motorcycle.

FSPD says Jones was taken into custody on October 21. No other details are available at this time.
