The Herndon Police Department is investigating a shooting incident in the 600 block of Center Street. HPD reports that it received multiple calls about shots fired at the aforementioned location around 2:30 a.m. on October 19, 2024.

Police say they heavily canvassed the area and found one vehicle that had been struck by multiple rounds. Authorities also say that one round entered a home on the same block. The occupants of the home were unharmed, according to HPD.
