The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday evening. Calgary Police say its Homicide Unit responded to investigate the shooting in the northeast community of Homestead.

Authorities report that officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of Homestead Drive Northeast for reports of a man shot around 7:20 p.m. on October 18, 2024. At the scene, responding officers found one man deceased, according to police.
