Update – CPD now says the suspect is in custody.

Original – The Carrollton Police Department has identified the victim and the suspect in a fatal shooting early Monday morning. CPD says the victim in the case is 34-year-old Gregory Martez Patton of Carrollton.

Authorities have identified the suspect as 26-year-old Quantrevion Desean Caldwell of Carrollton. At this time, Caldwell has an outstanding warrant for murder. He remains at large.
