The Raleigh Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Christian Oldman. Around 6:22 a.m. on October 12, 2024, RPD officers responded to a reported shooting in the 400 block of South Salisbury Street.

At the scene, officers found 30-year-old Christian Oldham suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. 30-year-old Spencer Charles Wrightington has been taken into custody.

RPD confirms Wrightington is charged with murder.
