Shreveport Police searching for man accused of shooting at police officers

The Shreveport Police Department is currently on the hunt for a man accused of firing shots at officers. Around 8:30 p.m. on October 9, 2024, SPD officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 4400 block of Norton Street.

As officers arrived at the scene, they were reportedly met with gunfire while exiting their vehicles. SPD confirms the officers were not injured. SPD says the suspect, Keith Mosley Jr., was not captured.

Warrants have been secured for Mosley charging him with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder and one count of Illegal Carrying and Discharge of a Weapon. SPD says Mosley should be considered armed and dangerous.
