Albert Zuniga has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty by a Comal County Jury. Around 10:30 a.m. on August 16, 2022, Schertz Police Department officers and Selma Police Department officers carried out an arrest warrant at a residence in the 16300 block of Chelsea Place.

Albert Zuniga was arrested on charges of Indecency with a Child by Contact and Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child. On October 9, 2024, a Comal County Jury found Zuniga guilty of Indecency with a Child by Contact and Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child.

On October 19, Zuniga was sentenced to 99 years for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child and 20 years and a fine of $10,000 for Indecency with a Child.
