The Metro Transit Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a shooting at the METRO Blue Line Nicollet Mall Station on August 27. MTPD reports that a suspect was arrested and charged in the shooting.

37-year-old Michael Anthony Brown Jr. was taken into custody by MTPD officers on Wednesday. Brown is charged with Second-Degree Assault. Authorities say the victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
