The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a homicide suspect. Sheriff Ennis W. Wright reports that homicide detectives with CCSO obtained warrants for 22-year-old Jeremiah Rahakeem Marshall on October 1, 2024.

At this time, Marshall is wanted for First-Degree Murder in the death of 25-year-old Shareek Donquale Taylor. The victim was killed in the 1900 block of Smith Road in Fayetteville on September 20, 2024.

Marshall is also wanted for Attempted First-Degree Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury. Sheriff Wright says Matthew Oxendine is no longer wanted for questioning.
