A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting on White Hill Road in the Mint Springs area this morning. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office reports that it received a call about shots fired in the 200 block of White Hill Road around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The victim said that the suspect fired several shots and some struck a vehicle. The suspect left the scene driving a tan four-door Buick sedan. Deputies responded to the area where they set up a perimeter.

ACSO says the suspect was identified as 27-year-old David Lee Blair Jr. of Waynesboro, Virginia. Following the shooting, Blair turned himself in at the August County Sheriff’s Office. No one was injured during the incident. The victim’s vehicle was damaged.

Blair is charged with Use, Attempt to Use, or Display in a Threatening Manner a Firearm While Committing or Attempting to Commit Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Attempted Malicious Wounding, and Maliciously Shoot at Occupied Motor Vehicle.

At this time, Blair is being held at the Middle River Regional Jail without bond. ACSO says this was an isolated domestic incident.
