The Loveland Police Department is searching for 48-year-old Charles Walley in connection to a stabbing in the 1000 block of North Lincoln Avenue. LPD officers responded to a call for a disturbance at the location around 1 p.m. on September 23, 2024.

The caller informed authorities that there was an ongoing dispute involving an adult male and an adult female. The caller said the parties separated and went in different directions. An officer in the area was flagged down and informed that a female had been stabbed.

The officer found the woman and immediately rendered aid. Medical personnel responded and transported the woman to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers learned that the altercation took place in the alley behind Peer Connect which is a local needle exchange.

Staff are familiar with both parties. LPD confirms there is no threat to the public. 48-year-old Charles Walley is wanted on a charge of Assault in the Second Degree. Anyone who sees Walley should call 911.
