The Raleigh Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a shooting on August 25. Around 2:39 a.m., RPD officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Fayetteville Street.
At the scene, responding officers found a male victim suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives say they identified and arrested 25-year-old Daniel Hezekiah Anderson.
Anderson is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Felony Conspiracy. Anderson was apprehended in Cary with help from the Cary Police Department.
