The Chattanooga Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a shooting on Rossville Boulevard. CPD reports that its officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot in the 2900 block of Rossville Boulevard around 3:17 a.m. on September 21, 2024.
At the scene, officers found a 32-year-old male victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. CPD’s Homicide Unit responded to take over the investigation.

Police found the vehicle at another location. CPD says a person matching the description of the suspect was inside the residence and exited when requested. 30-year-old Hector Lopez-Garcia is charged with Aggravated Assault, Felony Reckless Endangerment, and Possessing a Firearm with Intent to Go Armed.
