The Everett Police Department says a suspect is dead following a police pursuit earlier today. Around 1:05 p.m., EPD officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Park View Apartments in the 1100 block of West Casino Road.

At the scene, officers found two victims. A female was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. EPD says witnesses identified the suspect and his vehicle.

Around 1:40 p.m., officers found the suspect vehicle and initiated a pursuit near 19th Avenue Southeast and El Capitan Way. Following a short pursuit, the suspect vehicle crashed near MP 190.

EPD says uninvolved vehicles were likely involved in the crash. Officers heard gunshots coming from the suspect vehicle before finding the suspect deceased. Law enforcement did not fire any shots during the incident.
