A 28-year-old Vallejo resident has surrendered to police in connection to a fatal shooting on Monday night. The Vallejo Police Department reports that its officers responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 300 block of Avian Drive around 10:50 p.m. on September 16, 2024.

At the scene, officers found an adult female victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim later succumbed to her injuries at the scene. VPD’s Homicide Detectives responded to assume control of the investigation.

VPD says 28-year-old Anthony Quinn Huff Jr. was identified as a suspect in the case. Huff surrendered to authorities on September 17, 2024. He was booked into the Solano County Jail on a charge of Murder.
