Williamson County Sheriff’s Office makes multiple arrests after victim shot 11 times in Liberty Hill home

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office has announced multiple arrests following an attempted murder in Liberty Hill. Around 2:30 a.m. on March 8, 2024, authorities received a call from a teenager who reported his mother and her boyfriend had been shot by an unknown intruder.

The intruder had forcibly entered their Liberty Hill residence while they were sleeping. No items were stolen. WCSO says it was immediately obvious that this was not a random act of violence.

The female victim suffered 11 gunshot wounds to her chest, arms, legs, shoulder, neck, and abdomen. Her boyfriend was shot twice in the neck and arm. Both victims survived their injuries.

The Liberty Hill Police Department requested assistance from WCSO’s Criminal Investigations Division. With help from the FBI, a joint investigation was launched. Authorities say three individuals were arrested for allegedly orchestrating the attempted murder and plotting to kill a Williamson County judge.

Authorities will be holding a press conference at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at WSCO’s headquarters to provide more information.
