The Germantown Police Department has announced the arrest of 20-year-old Richard Sniezak following a months-long investigation. GPD reports that Sniezak was arrested on a federal indictment related to two arson incidents.

One incident occurred in the 7600 block of Wolf River Circle on April 5. The second occurred in the 1300 block of Cordova Cove on April 13, 2024. A federal warrant was issued last week. Sniezak was arrested during a traffic stop in Germantown on Saturday.

At this time, the suspect is charged with two counts of Arson Affecting Interstate Commerce. No other details are available at this time.
