The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a domestic-related incident that led to two fatalities. APD reports that its officers responded to the 3400 block of Jackson Street around 7:30 p.m. on Friday for a shooting.

APD says a domestic-related incident occurred involving a male subject who entered his business and shot three related individuals. Then, the man turned the gun on himself. One of the victims is deceased.

The other two are currently at a local hospital in critical condition. At this time, the names of those involved are not being released. CAPD says there is no ongoing threat to the public. Anyone with information is asked to call APD at 318-441-6416.
