The Chicago Police Department has announced that a 23-year-old Chicago man has been charged with attempted murder of a 9-month-old female. A news release from CPD explains that 23-year-old Kenneth Mosby was taken into custody and charged accordingly. Mosby was arrested on November 30, 2023 in the 2100 block of South First Avenue in Maywood, Illinois.

Authorities say Mosby was identified as the suspect who shot and critically injured a 9-month-old female on November 28, 2023 in the 0-100 block of East Garfield Boulevard. Mosby is charged with first-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery/discharge firearm.
