The Spokane Police Department has announced the arrest of 31-year-old Trischa R. Maravilla on three counts of 1st Degree Assault. Around 11:44 a.m. on September 6, 2024, SPD officers responded to the area of 2000 North Division for a report of a stabbing.

911 was informed that the suspect was a female. A patrol sergeant witnessed a female suspect actively assaulting people with a knife. While in the presence of the officer, the female suspect allegedly stabbed one man and was trying to stab another.

The female was quickly apprehended and stopped from harming a third victim. Officers found another wounded individual who had been stabbed. The two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
