The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Hulls Chapel Road. SCSO reports that its officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Hulls Chapel Road just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday night.

At the scene, responding deputies found an adult male deceased at the residence. Authorities have detained the suspected shooter. SCSO believes the shooting was domestic-related and that there is no threat to the public.
