The Texas City Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to a stabbing on Friday. TCPD reports that Patrol Division officers responded to a disturbance at the Time Out Sports Bar around 12:51 a.m. on August 30, 2024.

The initial caller told authorities that there was a fight, multiple people were injured, and at least three people had been stabbed. Authorities transported three victims to local hospitals. One victim, 33-year-old Brittany Richard, succumbed to her injuries.

Around 7:27 p.m. on September 3, 2024, authorities arrested Shinyce Felder in the murder of Brittany Richard. Felder is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and is being held on a $450,000 bond.
