In Washington, the Sunnyside Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened late Sunday night. SPD reports that its officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of East Decatur Avenue around 11:06 p.m. on September 1.

SPD confirms detectives have several leads that they’re currently following up on at this time. The victim was found at an address on Decatur Avenue suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
