The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department confirms that authorities are investigating the death of a young female who was found on Sunday morning. Just after 11:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to the 200 block of East Ohio Street in Allegheny Center for the suspicious death of a young female within a residence.

At this time, details are limited. The victim’s identity, age, and cause and manner of death will be determined by the Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner. Authorities say there is no risk to the public.
