The Appleton Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident on the city’s south side. APD reports that its officers responded to the 300 block of West Valley Road for reports of gunshots and people fleeing the area on Friday.

Several local agencies responded to assist APD. A large police presence canvassed the area and surrounding neighborhoods. APD says physical evidence was located and interviews were carried out.

No injuries were reported in connection to this incident. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact APD at 920-832-5500.
