Carl Agyemang charged with murder in fatal stabbing of his brother

Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Ian Bucs announced on Friday that a 26-year-old Willingboro man had been charged in the fatal stabbing of his brother.

Carl Agyemang is charged with Murder (First Degree) and weapons offenses in the death of his brother, 23-year-old Floyd Agyemang. Carl remains behind bars at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.

Authorities say the investigation began around 11:15 a.m. on August 24. Willingboro Township Police Department officers responded to the first block of Hepburn Lane for a report of a stabbing. At the scene, officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he passed away around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Authorities say Carl fled on foot but was taken into custody a short time later. A knife was reportedly recovered.
