On December 1, 2023, Honorable Hilary Manley handed down a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 12 years imprisonment in Mohammed Hussain’s absence. Hussain refused to attend sentencing on November 30 and December 1.
The 27-year-old was convicted of sexually assaulting and attacking two female sex workers in Cheetham Hill in Manchester.
On August 10, 2022, Hussain entered the above area and paid a female sex worker before violently assaulting her. Within minutes, Hussain approached another female sex worker in the area. He paid for the service before violently assaulting the female victim. Both victims said they feared for their lives during the separate attacks.
Hussain was found guilty of actual bodily harm and attempted rape in connection with the above crimes.
