In Texas, the Garland Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that left one person dead. GPD reports that its officers responded to the 2600 block of West Walnut Street for a weapons disturbance around 12:30 a.m. on August 25, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found three victims suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. Detectives are currently working to determine what happened and who was involved.
