The Duluth Police Department is currently investigating a shooting with two victims. DPD reports that it responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of East 3rd Street around 2:15 a.m. on August 24, 2024.

DPD says responding officers found a chaotic scene with two victims. A 56-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains hospitalized.

A 29-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen. The second victim was treated at an area hospital and released. No other details are available at this time.
