The Boston Police Department has arrested a 38-year-old Dorchester man in connection to a fatal stabbing on Friday night. Just before 10 p.m. on Friday, District C-11 officers responded to 1879 Dorchester Avenue for a report of a person stabbed.

At the scene, officers found a male victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Homicide Unit and District C-11 detectives arrested 38-year-old David Adams on August 24, 2024.

Adams has been charged with Murder. Detectives say they saw an individual matching the description of the suspect last night. Authorities say further investigation confirmed it was the person who fatally stabbed the victim on Dorchester Avenue.

The suspect was transported to District C-11 for booking.
