A Shasta County jury has found a sexual predator guilty of all counts. The Shasta County District Attorney’s Office reports that the jury found Jerry Anthony Patnode Jr. guilty of seven felony child sexual assault related charges on August 22, 2024.

The charges include two counts of Oral Copulation or Sexual Penetration of a Child 10 Years Old or Younger and five counts of Lewd Acts Upon a Child Under the Age of 14. Patnode was found guilty on all counts and all special allegations were found to be true.

Patnode is scheduled to be sentenced at 2 p.m. on September 23, 2024. He will face a maximum sentence of 38 years to life.
