The Beaumont Police Department is currently searching for a young child who was captured on a concerned homeowner’s camera. BPD reports that it requested assistance from a helicopter in the search around 11:49 p.m.

BPD says it is asking for assistance in locating the parents or guardians of the juvenile. The child was last seen around 9:41 p.m. on Wednesday evening approaching the door of a home in the 1300 block of Pumice Lane.

The child was recorded on camera approaching the home before running off in an unknown direction. The homeowners called BPD. Anyone with information about the child is asked to call 911 or the non-emergency line at 951-769-8500.
