The Placer County Sheriff’s Office has apprehended a person of interest in a Kings Beach missing person investigation and a Reno homicide case. PCSO says Brent Clifford was spotted in Portola around 4 p.m. on August 14, 2024.

Clifford was taken into custody and is currently being held on an active warrant. Authorities tracked Clifford’s vehicle, a red 2003 Blazer, to Portola. PCSO confirms that Patricia Portella-Wright remains missing.

She was last seen on the morning of August 4. Anyone with information is asked to contact PCSO at 530-889-7830.
