The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Eduardo Del Real. RCSO reports that Perris Sheriff’s station deputies responded to a reported vehicle theft in the 19000 block of Summerwind Trail in Mead Valley.

Deputies were advised that a Hispanic male had been shot at the intersection of Cajalco Road and Haines Street. Citizens were attempting life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

RCSO’s Central Homicide Unit responded to assume control of the investigation. Authorities have identified the shooting victim as 29-year-old Jose Eduardo Del Real of Perris. At this time, no one is in custody.
