According to a news release from the San Diego Police Department, a man has been arrested for sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. Authorities say police arrested a 20-year-old man and are looking for additional victims. The suspect, who is being identified by his first name as “Romero”, claimed to be a 15-year-old boy during conversations with the victim.

Authorities allege that Romero sexually assaulted the victim at her home. Investigators believe there could be unreported victims who had been sexually assaulted by Romero at their homes or his. Authorities are withholding additional details to protect the investigation and prosecution.
