The Raleigh Police Department has announced an arrest in the death of 32-year-old Angel Cirilo De Leon Andrade. RPD reports that 39-year-old Mario Fernando Sevilla Cubias was arrested by Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers. He will be extradited to North Carolina.

RPD says Cubias’s destination is unknown and remains a part of the ongoing investigation. 54-year-old Wanda Geomey Moreta-de-Hernan was also arrested for Accessory after the Fact.

Around 8:11 p.m. on August 5, 2024, RPD officers responded to a person shot in the 700 block of Navaho Drive. At the scene, officers found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
