The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting. CCSO reports that its deputies responded to a shooting on Cane Mill Crossing Road in the Teals Mill or Hunts Mill area around 3:40 a.m. on August 8, 2024.

At the scene, responding deputies found the body of 42-year-old Karl Martin Reiff Jr. CCSO says 21-year-old Dameon Brown Crowley was arrested at the scene. At this time, Crowley has been charged with Murder and is being held at the Chesterfield County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing, but no other details are available at this time.
