The Killeen Police Department is currently investigating a possible murder-suicide. KPD reports that its officers responded to the 1200 block of Charisse Street for a deceased person in a residence just before 4 p.m. on August 8, 2024.

At the scene, KPD officers found a deceased 21-year-old female and a deceased 22-year-old male. Both were suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Nicola James at 5:26 p.m.

At this time, their identities are being withheld. KPD says it is believed this was a murder-suicide. No other details are available at this time.
