The Page Police Department has announced the arrest of a man accused of punching and choking a family member. PPD says the incident occurred during an argument about food served to the arrestee.

PPD reports that officers responded to a residence in Page, Arizona for a report of an adult male who had punched a family member. At the scene, officers learned that Danton Eddy had assaulted and choked a family member following an argument about the food he had been served.

A drug-certified police canine also allegedly found illegal drugs in the area where Eddy had been staying. PPD says it recovered drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and fentanyl. Eddy was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, and more.
